Suzanne Whelan is the founder and lead mediator at Renew Mediation. With over 28 years of executive and non‑executive leadership experience, she brings deep governance, commercial, and strategic insight to her mediation work. Suzanne's career has centred on navigating complex negotiations and multi‑party environments, giving her a grounded understanding of how conflict emerges, and how people can move through it with dignity, clarity and fairness.
Governance mediation is at the heart of Suzanne’s practice. She works with boards, chairs, CEOs, and senior leaders to address governance breakdowns, boardroom tension, role clarity issues, and strategic misalignment. Her style is calm, balanced, and discreet, creating space for honest conversation and constructive decision‑making.
Suzanne also supports organisations and individuals through commercial mediation, including partnership and shareholder disputes, founder conflict, and commercial contract disagreements.
